The purpose of this program is to produce pharmacy graduates committed to lifelong learning who, having a sufficient understanding o the principles and techniques of Pharmaceutical Science and after appropriate pre-registration training, are able to communicate and deliver Pharmaceutical care in the community and hospitals setting and are also to take professional responsibility for the manufacture and testing of medicinal products.Objective
After Diploma the students can :- Understand how medicines are developed , manufactured & brought to the marked place.
- Have a Basic understanding of medicines formulation and the capability to prepare extemporaneously any medicine for which this would be regarded as the normal of provision.
- Be able to supply medicines in accordance with pharmaceutical knowledge, legislation and codes of professional conduct & practice.
- Have sufficient academic knowledge to interpret and evaluate prescriptions & other orders for medicines, & to underpin a role in advising patients & other healthcare professional about medicines & there usage.
- Be able o recognize common disease state & make appropriate responses to presented symptoms.
- Have an appreciation of the principals of quality & quality assurance mechanisms in all aspects of scientific & professional activities.

The admission is done on the basis of CUP JEE for D. Pharmacy conducted by CUP JEE.Management Quota/Unfilled Sheet -
On the basis of merit as pre guidelines laid down by the Board as under:
- NRI Candidate with prescribed Qualification.
- On the basis of merit of CUP JEE.
- 10+2 Exam (P.B.C/P.C.M) or equivalent with minimum 50% Marks.
